Carlo Ancelotti Has His Eye On Javier Hernandez

Bayern Munich’s incoming manager, Carlo Ancelotti, is looking to acquire Arsenal target Javier Hernandez; he hopes to see the Bayer Leverkusen striker in Allianz Arena next season.

The Mexican soccer star has had an exceptional season with Bayer, after moving from Manchester United over the summer. It appears that the Gunners are interested in him ahead of the January transfer window.

Hernandez’s play this season, which includes 21 goals so far, has caught the eye of Ancelotti as well. He is set to replace Pep Guardiola in Munich this summer and has instructed Bayern chiefs to prepare a move for Hernandez, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.

The acquisition of Hernandez would be a great fit for both parties. He has shown himself to be very effective in the Bundesliga and would be an excellent addition to the Bayern squad as a backup for Robert Lewandowski. Hernandez and Ancelotti also have experience working together, with Hernandez joining Real Madrid on loan from United in 2014-15.

Arsenal believes that Hernandez would be a great fit for their team as well. Manager Arsene Wenger only has one out-and-out striker on his team at this time and is looking to add more talent.

Unfortunately for Arsenal, they may have missed their chance to grab Hernandez. His prior relationship with Ancelotti could prove to the decisive factor in any move that he makes. Furthermore, he may wish to remain in the Bundesliga, considering how well he has performed this year.

Javier Hernandez may just to decide to stay put if playing time is his primary concern. He has enjoyed the opportunity to play a prominent role for the team. Hernandez has previously stated that he was not happy playing the majority of his games as a substitute with United. A move to Bayern Munich or Arsenal would likely involve a return to the bench more regularly as well.
